Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
